The Challenge: Growing Demand vs. Workforce Shortage
A regional mineral water and soft drinks producer in Suceava needed to scale up production to meet summer demand. However, their existing semi-manual lines required 12 operators per shift—staff they simply couldn't find or retain due to the local labor crisis. They desperately needed fully automated filling and packaging lines, but quotes from top-tier German suppliers exceeded €1.5 million, a CAPEX figure that made the investment financially impossible.

The i-Matrix Solution: Turnkey Line Integration
We shifted the strategy from "piecemeal buying" to a turnkey solution from Newamstar, China’s leading liquid packaging manufacturer. We engineered and sourced a complete "Combi-block" line (Blowing-Filling-Capping) integrated with an automated shrink-wrapping system. We managed the entire project lifecycle: from the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Jiangsu to ensure the PLC software interface was in English/Romanian, to the logistics of 12 containers delivered directly to the facility.

The Result: 75% Labor Reduction & 60% Cost Savings
The new line operates at 12,000 bottles per hour (BPH) requiring only 3 monitoring technicians instead of 12 manual workers, effectively solving the staffing bottleneck. Financially, the project was delivered at approximately 40% of the cost of the European equivalent. The client achieved ROI in under 18 months and has since commissioned a second line for fruit juices through us.
